Our Commitment to Transparency
At pointone18.shop, we believe in being transparent about our relationships with brands and retailers. This page discloses our affiliate relationships and how they impact the content on our Website.
Amazon Associates Program
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through our affiliate links. This means that when you click on a product link on our Website and purchase that product on Amazon, we receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
The exact compensation we receive is determined by Amazon and varies based on the product category and other factors. Our participation in the Amazon Associates Program does not affect the price you pay for any products.
How Affiliate Links Work
When we include product links on our Website, they typically contain our unique Amazon Associates tracking code. If you click one of these links and make a purchase within a certain time frame, we earn a commission. This commission helps us maintain and improve our Website, pay for hosting, and continue creating informational content.
Our Selection Process
We are selective about the products we recommend. Our recommendations are based on:
- Product quality and user value
- Relevance to our content
- Our genuine belief in the product’s usefulness
- Customer reviews and ratings
We do not recommend products solely because they generate commissions. Our primary goal is to provide you with accurate, helpful information.
Disclosures on Individual Pages
On pages where affiliate links appear, we typically include a disclosure statement to remind you of our affiliate relationship. You may see statements such as:
- “As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.”
- “This post contains affiliate links.”
Your Choices
Using our affiliate links is completely optional. You can:
- Search for and purchase products directly from retailers without using our links
- Use our links as a convenience, knowing that doing so supports our Website at no cost to you
Other Affiliate Relationships
Currently, our primary affiliate program is Amazon Associates. If we establish affiliate relationships with other retailers or brands in the future, we will disclose those relationships clearly and transparently on relevant pages.
